Sulcata Cage

Caseyla Jul 29, 2004 12:08 PM

I've looked everywhere on specs on building a cage for my 4" sulcata and i've found a few "table" plans but i haven't found anything else and i was wondering if anyone had any other options to toss out there? Thanks

Depending on how large you plan on making one, I made one for my two Herman's tortoise hatchlings, I've been using it for over half a year and I really like it. I went to lowes and bought 2 10" by 4 feet melamine boards and 2 10" by 3 feet melamine boards. I put the boards together and bought another piece of board to cover the bottom of the box, your choice of wood. The only part you will have to cut is the bottom piece. I also bought some of those lenolium squares for the floor and covered the bottom of pen with those, it keeps the wood water proof. I attached a few pics to resemble the pen, they are not mine but got my idea on building mine from those.
