I don't have any light on her during the day or at night. All I have is a heating pad at the one end of the tank, does she need a light at all. I know I have done some reading and some say that geckos don't need a light, but then one web site said to put a infrared red bulb on her at night?? Do I need one, I have had her for 4 days so I am still worried about how she should be acting

If the heat pad is hot enough to provide 90 at the hot side and 75 at cool side during the day than she'll be fine.

How do i find out what the temp is on the two diffrent sides?? Without going to a big expense?

I have a temp gun from proexotics.com and it was 25 dollars and it tells temp to /- 2% which is awesome. It doesnt measure ambient but that doesnt matter for leos because they are on the ground so i measure the ground temp over the heat mat and then on the side without it.
