they are non visually genetic, meaning they are not a Hypomelanistic(hypo) or amelenistic(albino).etc.

snakemannick Jul 29, 2004 07:29 PM

the same thing, picture is not that showing but more than likely it is a common Colombian .boa constrictor constrictor.

I'm sorry I goofed the first one is not boa constrictor imperator, but boa constrictor constrictor.

the first one i had a pic of is totally different from the rest...her scales are thicker and not smooth like the others and her coloring is totally different with extreme variation to the bottom but the rest of them the colors kinda wrap arround....if u look at them next to one another they look totally different ....can they be the same kind and still look and feel totally different?

I had told him the first response that they were constrictor inperator, you can see I goofed and thaught it was the other way around.

Thanks for the correct reply. He had me scratching my head, and I was ready to start busting out the boa books.

snakemannick Jul 30, 2004 07:12 AM

I had the first one right then when I looked in the boa bible to see if I spelled it correctly they had the Colombian as bcc.
SO then I thaught the bci were the smaller boas like Hog Island which is bci. so I goofed I went back on my orriginal word and changed from bci to bcc.
thats all

BIGGWORM Jul 30, 2004 10:43 AM

Don't worry about it,No big deal,God knows we all goof from time to time.Look at me,I DO IT DAILY, like putting this awesome boa up for sale. What was I thinking?

..

snakemannick Jul 29, 2004 07:24 PM

a common Colombian boa constrictor imperator.
aka Colombian redtail, non visually genetic, just normal.

snakemannick Jul 29, 2004 09:29 PM

This was my first response to the question and when I looked at the second pic I threw myself off by saying constrictor constrictor.
I know better and I slapped myself for it.
