Looking for Opinions on Pinstripe Balls

jasonkaline Jul 29, 2004 07:04 PM

Just wanting to know what everyone thinks about the pinstripe balls. In your opinion is it an eventual "must have" like Albinos, Pastels, Spiders and such? Is it as solid of an investment as Spiders were a few years back or Mojaves/Platinums are now?

Thanks,
Jason

I LOVE THEM!!

We feel that Pinstripes are a definite "must have" like most all other pattern morphs of Ball Pythons. The Pinstripe and Genetic Stripe are among my most favorite of our Ball Python projects. Their possibilities are endless!!!

Pinstripes are definitely a strong stable project that will produce smashing results for many years to come. So far the Lemon Blast (Lemon Pastel) Pinstripes and the Spinner (Spider x Pinstripe) are very awesome looking animals!! There should be a few more designer Pinstripes revealed this season.

That's just my opinion... I may be biased

Thanks,

Thanks for your opinion, I appriciate it. I too think they are an awesome morph and the fact that there are relatively few of them out there akes them even more appealing.

I love all the white snakes being produced but there seems to be quite a few of the "key ingredients" floating around out there as compared to the pinstripe projects.

Thanks Again,
Jason

Very Very solid investment, the only problem is I dont think there are going to be enough this year to go around for everyone that wants one, But this is also good for the market! And this will also keep the market strong for time to come.

I agree with both Bryan and Sean. Currently demand for the pinstripes is exceeding the available supply. This is strong positive sign for the the pinstripe market.I think the white snakes are nice, but that is the "end" of the project.Once you have the white snake there`s no where else to really go with it.Also there lots of ways to make lots of different white snakes. With ivorys,3 types of snows and a few types of lucy`s i dont feel that white snakes will be that much of a novelty in the coming years. And if you are going to get into them,be sure to pick the "right" one.Think of all the time and money people invested in snow balls and now the blue-eyed lucy comes along and blows the snow away! On the other hand, i believe pinstripes being a pattern morph is the beginning of many new designer morphs. As Sean mentioned, we`ve already seen crosses with the spider and pastel.Think of the pin crossed with an albino, ghost, caramel albino,mojave,axanthic,etc... There`s lots to do with this project.Just my opinion. Mark Petros

Thanks for the input guys.

Two more questions if you will.

1) Do you know if a pinstripe to pinstripe breeding has taken place?

2) Could you give your best educated guess as to how many pinstipes have been released into the market at this point?

Thanks,
Jason
