Not usually unless they are looking for a place to lay their eggs. Is she maybe gravid ? Also snakes that are hungry have a tendancy to wander about maybe she is going thru a growth spurt (if she is young) and wants nmore chow ???

....is playing part. It's been very hot, humid and stormy here lately and ALL my snakes (except my lazy rosy boas lol) have been very active, even my cal kings who tend like it a bit drier have been literally climbing the walls of their enclosures.
