Feeding Times

briggzer Jul 30, 2004 07:13 AM

does anyone find that it's better meaning the geckos seem to be more active and eat better durning the evening or late morning since they're nocturnal? Just wondering since I'm going to be feeding sometime today/tonight which will only be their second feeding since I got them. I also plan to get some mealworms, even though around here I can't get mini's I'm going to try a couple regular ones in a dish.

Thanks, Briggzer

I like to just leave a dish of mealies in there cage, and they usually will only eat those at night. I feed crickets anytime and they always seem to wake up for them.

I asked about feeding times when I got started, most replies were that it did not matter. But I have found with mine that they eat very well when I feed them at night when the're active & out prowling around.

I now feed mine between 9-9:30 PM.
