I would just like to know if a tegu will eat themselves to the point of exploding?? I have a B&W and he only eats a little while my blue will seem to eat till she is too fat to move. I don't know if this is normal. She seems very healthy and she does not stay fat but when she eats she is a little piggy. Just wondering.

I always feed mine as much as they eat but they don't seem to have problems walking afterwards. I'm going to start worrying about them getting to fat after they reach their adult size (1 1/2 years of growth).
