veiled chameleon question?

im just wondering if its normal if the top of my chameleons helmet popped of... just the very top... it looks healthy underneath and its just skin now...

I'm guessing this isn't a normal shed. I have no idea on the subject, but my general rule of thumb is when body parts start popping off it's a bad thing (and seek consultation/treatment).

You can format your posts and signature using BBCode. Here are some common examples:
