can anyone tell me how long does a green iguana live for usualy.

there life span generally lasts from 11 to 15 years-a well cared for iguana can live to be 20 years of age i have heard though.

20 to 25 years for a well-cared ig, or longer. At least expect well into the upper teens unless your ig develops health problems, which it shouldn't if you've got your husbandry down and don't have any bad luck. Much longer than a dog or cat.

thanks for the posts. i have had my ig for a year now, i supcet that he was a year old when i got him. he is around 24 or better inches long.
