Inverted Female

I was going through some pics tonight and ran accross this one. This 16" female is inverted heating her belly of eggs. This was really cool because I didn't know that they did that at the time. I almost got bit when I opened the cage and gave her a good shake. LOL

I never get tired of seeing that behavior in large pythons. Below is an old slide photo I took of one of my females which I recaptured digitally. This photo was taken in 1981. She was an outstanding female to work with and never had less than a 95% hatch rate, and always with maternal incubation. She typically showed the most complete inversions of all of my females, many times more than what is shown in this photo. Thanks,
