Any tips on sexing ATBs?

Dragon_lord Jun 22, 2003 11:27 PM

Hi I have a 6 month old ATB and I do not know its sex. I want to buy a mate for him for next year but since i don't know it's sex I can't do that yet. I was wondering if ATBs have visible sex differences, like tail lenths or something.Well thanks, Lance

There are tail length differences, but it is visably hard to tell. Best way is to probe them with a very skinny ball tip probe. If your Ammie is agressive enough it will probably emit him or herself while you are handling it.
