A few of my holdbacks...

wetceal Jul 31, 2004 12:01 AM

Here are some pictures of a few babies that I'm probably going to end up keeping. These little ones are from our June litter. They are about a month old now and not all of them have shed yet. They are taking an especially long time to shed although they are all feeding like crazy. I didn't know exactly what was going on with these babies when I first saw them and I still don't.

Anyways, I just wanted to share some photos of them...

This first photo is of one of the males. He is VERY light colored today. He varies greatly from light to dark. The pink stays pink all the time and the gray stays gray all the time but both the pink and gray will go from very light like in these photos to very, very dark with amazing contrast. I will take some photos of him on one of his dark days...

Here he is with a female sibling who's in a dark phase today...

Here is a normal female from the same litter. She is either very slate gray or super dark gray...

All opinions welcome...let me know what you guys think! Thanks for looking!

Hey Celia,

Hypos are weird, whacky critters, huh? The color changes are amazing. I am constantly entertained by it when I peek in at my Ghostlings, Ghost/Hog babies.....even my Anerys do it!! You've got some really cool and unusual looks there....especially with that little normal
