When do you breed a female? (once she lays infertile eggs?)

jj1k Jul 31, 2004 11:37 AM

I have a 2 year old male and a 8month female.
Is it ok to breed them? Do I have to wait before she lays infertile eggs before I can breed her?

James

Going off what I have read they do not reach sexual maturity until they are about 18 months old chances are at this age they would not mate anyways but regardless this would not be a good idea.
