Ideal Temperatures?

MissMiniZoo Jul 31, 2004 02:52 PM

I have read on the internet that the ideal temp. gradients for Corns is about 65-85 degrees. My 2 month old corn's aquarium is about 75 degrees on the cool side and about 80 degrees on the heated side. Will these temps be okay for him? Right now he is in a 10 gallon with a reptile heating pad on one side of his tank. He loves to hide under his water dish and when I pick him up after he's been under there for awhile he is cool to the touch. That bothers me a bit, but I assume if he is too cold he'll move to the heated side.

Thanks for your input in advance.
