Hets is a term for heterozygous a ressesive gene to what ever it is a het for . ei het for albino will look like a normal boa, color and pattern but has the gene hidden or ressesive to produce albino when bred with another with the same gene, another het for albino or even an albino. If you breed an albino to a normal boa all the babies will be het for albino, but look like normal babies. so when buying hets you really need to trust who you buy them from.
If you here the term possable het or 66% hets those are babies from a het to normal breeding but you will not know which babies are actually hets until you breed them to a het or an albino.

A hypo is a short name for hypomelanistic, meaning the gene reduces the melenin or the black pigment each time it is bred and it is a codominant gene, meaning you can breed a hypo to a normal boa and approximately half the babies will be hypos the others will be normal not carrying the gene at all.

hope that was not too confusing for your first lesson on hets and hypos.
