how many anoles in a 75 gallon tank?

i am setting up a planted tank in my room... just for soemthing to look at..

How many green anoles could i fit in there? and do anoles get along with any other lizards/amphibians?

I would not put more than 7 green anoles in, and not more than one male. They will likely be very, very happy in there.

I'm one of those folks that doesn't mix species. Other people may give you a different opinion.

Back a couple years ago when I kept anoles, 6 in a 100 gallon reptarium would still fight on occasion. I think that was caused by there being too many lizards trying to bask under the same light though. They calmed down considerably whenever I took the enclosure outside in partial sun.

As for mixing species, I've seen some nice setups that included anoles. One that comes to mind was a huge custom built enclosure that I wouldn't be surprised if it could hold 300 gallons. My 8th grade science teacher kept 4 green anoles, two white's tree frogs, a marbled gecko, 3-4 fire belly toads, and a few newts in it. A third of the tank was a shallow water area, with a stream setup running through the rest. Last I knew it was still up and running smoothly.
