When offering first meals to a new clutch of hatchlings, does anybody have a method that doesn't waste a lot of pinkies? The best thing I can think of is to thaw out about six, put one in six of the cups, wait 3-4 hours, remove the uneaten ones and move them to new cups, and then repeat until all the hatchlings have either eaten or refused to eat. Using this method today, I still had to throw away (feed to my turtles) four pinkies. I'll wait a week and try again and I'm sure my numbers will be better next time, I was just wondering if anyone has a more efficient method. I guess feeding live would solve this problem but I'd rather start them on f/t if I can.
