Hey, I've got a question for you. I'm farely sure my collared lizard is male, but, he doesn't turn green and yellow like that. Am I gender confused? :/

just not as colorful as Big Donnies. His is a well colored lizard. Great Color big Donnie, amazing. Also, shopunke, males come in every color including grey, yellow, blue, green ect...
Some are just not as colorful as others.

I just feed em well, and give them EXPENSIVE lighting!
I don't have the oportunity to get mine into natural sunlight, so they bask under ZooMed UVB bulbs! Word is they are just as good as the sun, I doubt it, but they seem to be a close second.
Also, I got my lizards because I wanted a VERY vivid blue/green male, with a yellow orange head. Just as some people prefer the blue of the Dickersonae, or the patern of the Vestigium (sp).
Since I was a kid and saw my first C.c.colaris from Oklahoma, I really liked the looks of them. I am also VERY partial to the C.c.auraceps, especially from the region of Eve's lizard room!!

Wow, he's nice looking! Did you find him in the same location as that road kill that was painted over by the highway crew?

I've seen some like that before.

Seriously though...He's a lot like Kong...looks better now than when they were running around trying to fend for themselves.
