first of the month and Annies eyes are blue agein. i was wondering if u guys can see a pattern in when your snakes shed. so far its bin on the first couple days of every month since i got her. also the other day when i feed her she would not take the rat. she would look at it and then come to the side of the cage. after about 5 minutes i got open the cage and picked the rat up and held it over to her and she took it. i think she is just getting lazy now. lol

` That's the way my big Yellow male feeds. I put him in a separate cage, to feed him, or remove the others from his cage. If I don't give him the food by hand, he checks it out, but usually won't eat it. If I leave it in overnight, it's usually gone in the morning. If I offer it to him by hand, he'll sniff it for a while, then open his mouth and let me put it in. Once he's got his teeth into it, he gets serious, and you can't get it away from him.
` I think lazy is the right term. He gets enthusiastic about the smell, during the thawing, which he can smell, as I live in a small house. He will come right out and roam around if I open the cage. When the food is offered however, he gets very lazy about it.
