Some like to post they are tired of people asking the same question because it's been answered so many times. To them I say "STOP FREQUENTING KS" New people join everyday who haven't researched all past forumns because they are new. DUH! To you Steven, try this: There are many previous threads covering this which try many methods. Yes, rubbing the rabbit with a rat may work for some. Others mentioned waiting out the snake. He'll get hungry enough some day. The method I use is to feed him a rat first. When the last part of the rat is sticking out and he stretches high and opens wide to engulf it, introduce the head of the next course into his open mouth. It's tough at first but once you get used to it, and realize he won't strike you with a mouth full of food, it pretty easy. I used to use a clip on a stick but now I just hold the animal with my hand and get up close and personal. I've done this with guinea's and chicks. After awhile they may get used to eating said food and take it without trickery.
