Do you know WHY they are dying? I wouldn't chance it either way. Especially if they are dying off in numbers and would have a chance to start deteriorating.

I have no idea why they are dieing. But I assume it is because the pet shop doesn't take care of the feeder fish very well. Only about 5/50 are dieing off, when I wake up in the mourning, they already have their skin sludging off. :/ I guess it would be a good idea NOT to feed my snakes the dead fish.
Thanks.
I worked in a pet store for many years and used to keep and breed fish. The feeder fish commonly sold(comets and rosies) are grossly diseased and horribly cared for in almost all stages of their lives. These fish are unhealthy to feed most animals when the fish are still alive so I image they are not too good to feed when dead. I am not one of those ppl that hates pet stores and the way they take care of animals, I just have had some expereinces with feeder fish and their uses that are very negative. One way to get around some of the external parisites is a salt dip. Sometimes we would take feeder fish before we fed them to anything and dip them in a highly concentrated salt bath that would kill external parasites that can live in freshwater.
