I was wondering if in captivity these salamanders act like Long Tailed Salamanders and are shy and rarely seen or are they more like Two Lined Salamanders, who are more fun to watch and enjoy people's presence?
Thanks,
Brian

I've kept the dark-sided sub. They habituated after a while and I would see them a lot during dusk and dawn (of course at night too if I flipped on the light). They were real climbers, so they trashed the sides of the terrarium rather quickly.
