candy corn not shedding properly

NCarolina8 Aug 01, 2004 07:33 PM

hi,we have 2 baby albino corn snakes and 1 candy corn and then we also have 2 ball pythons, all of our snakes are shedding fine except our cany corn whenever he sheds we either have to help him to get it all off in one shot or pick all the tiny pieces out of his tank or off of his body. We know that it means they have a skin disease or irritation with the pythons but we cant seem to find anything out about it when it comes to the candy. we keep a water container with conditioner in it and lately weve been putting him in the bath tub so we know he stays conditioned when hes about to shed.

Next time he is about to shed try putting a humidity box in with him. It may help. Most corns will shed without problem so it may be something else going on. Where are you in NC. Good luck with him.
