im going to need one soon as i wont be at home often to mist my cham manually. i was looking at the rainmaker jr from ecologic technologies but its a little pricey. can anyone suggest a good automatic misting system that is reasonably priced?

check out the Mr. Moisture system. It works great and is only $100 (yea I know only). Just be aware that it shouldn't run longer than 5 mins. I programmed mine wrong and it ran for about an hour and blew out the pump. I got mine at ReptileDepot, I don't recommend getting it there though because it took about 2 weeks for it to arrive.

i have the one from big apple herp. It works great, its about $10 more than the Mr. Moisture system, but if your on the east coast its worth it in the shipping cost and they ship really fast. It also can only run for about 4 min.

I have the RainMaker Jr. and it has run multiple times every day, 365 days a year, for years. Never had any problems with it and whenever I've needed parts etc. they have been great. Maybe more expensive than the other systems, but back when I got it they were the only system around. The newer pumps can run dry whereas mine supposedly can't. Well, a pet sitter let it run dry for several cycles and the pump is still working. I like being able to run it off a 5 gallon bucket reservoir rather than having to hook it up to plumbing somewhere. Mine could wet down an entire room free range setup in minutes as well as mist cages through a wall in another room.
