Gecko in water Bowl!!

Sassy76 Aug 01, 2004 09:40 PM

My gecko has been laying in her water dish all day off and on of course? Is she like wanting a bath or something? Or is she hot and is cooling off?? I have her humid hide in there but she don't ever seem to go in it!! Is this normal for a gecko to do this?? She is alert and everything it just seems funny for her to be in her water bowl!!

Check your temps... the only time I've had leos do this is when it's been extremely hot in thier cage (above 90-95). I immediately turn on the air when I see it, but sometimes I jsut don't expect the house to warm up that fast. Try to bring the temps down a little bit and see what happens.
