Well, I ahve found my iguana soul mate. After almost 3 months of telling the rescue I just want to be sure, I am sure. I am going to pick up Dan (FIance named him Danzig) tomorrow evening. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has ever posted on this forum. With out all your help I could not have been so well prepared to rescue my new iguana buddy.
I have a 6 foot long, 8 foot tall and 4 foot wide cage for him that keeps a 55 - 60% humidity and 95 F in his basking area. I have 2 florecent UVB lights and a 160 watt zoo med basking lamp. I found a farmers market in my town and met a woman there who grows veggies and fruits in her own garden and is wiling to sell to me. (She grows organically)
Thank you all so much for al your time posting. It has helped more then you can ever know. I hope to have a digital camera soon to get you all pictures.
THANK YOU!
Amanda
