my comp went down, but for any of you wanting to bring jacksons back from hawaii, here is the info. you need to contact the dept. of wild life on the island you are on. ask to apply for a permit to transport. you may only transport 4 jacksons. the flight you take must be a direct flight to the mainland, no connecting flights to any other island. so i am guessing it needs to be from either kona or oahu and maybe maui.
i think those airports are the only ones that have straight shot flights! the goverment doesn't want the jacksons to spread more than what they are! oh yah, it's a one time shot, one permit per family! you also need to call the airlines you'll be departing on and ask if they allow the chameleons on board! so if any of you come to the big island and want to go looking for some, let me know! i also have captive bred jacksons.(to buy of course, lol) but if you'd like to have some wild chaught chams or just some cool picture takings let me know.
