Pacman acting starngely.

frogresearcher Aug 02, 2004 05:02 AM

Hello everyone. I know i havent been here inawhilebut anyway.

My pacman seems to act very strange when he eats.He seems to strecth out one of his legs and his sides look like they are bubbling, but he always eats his food. I have never seen this kind of behavior in any of my other pacmans that i had a few years ago.

Does anyone know whats up with that?

What do you mean by his side seems to be bubbeling? If you mean that the stomac "moves" I would say it's normal. Almost like the Pacman seems to be repositioning the food in the stomac.

About stretching the leg out: Does it stretch the leg straight out or to the side? I've learned that Pacmans (and other anurans) sometimes use their leg/fot to lure their prey closer. Mine sometimes puts his leg to the side and moves his toes.
I don't know if this is what you mean but I hoped it helped.

When i say bubbling i mean like when you blow bubbles in milk, but underneath his skin. When he stretches out his leg he stretches it out to the back not the front.

Someyimes mine will appear to "adjust" her stomach while eating, and it does look like she is stretching her front limbs while doing this. I think it's just her way of making more room in there for the food she's eating.
As long as the frog is having normal defecations, and is not impacted, I don't think there's any worry.
