I threw in some interesting stuff for Griffon to explore; ie a light bulb box, some sphagnum moss to burrow through, a paper towel tube and some new branches and now he is much more content. The fact that he is so smart makes me sad to see Bts rotting away at petstores because they are too over priced. I actually got him as a baby at petco for about $80 (i know some people)...the female he was with is still there after 6 months. Her tail is missing now and she is still priced at &169.99. It is so sad....

Why don't you let him explore a room or go outside. I give mine a half hour a day to explore my room.

I believe that lack of mental stimulation is what makes a lot of blue tongues so cranky. They are so inquisitive, I totally agree about the pet shop thing... I have the exact same thing going on at our PetCo, and I've written several complaints. I was getting responses too until I said: "How many letters do you think I will have to write until I walk thru that Petco door and see a change?" Havn't heard back since.
