Defecating problems?

TEKNOSYS Aug 02, 2004 11:26 AM

I've had this boa since 7/9/04. She's had 2 meals and 1 shed since I've had her, and I've yet to find any "number two" in the cage. How normal is this? She is due to be fed again in a few days, but I'm a little worried. She seems OK though, at least she's active enough.

So it's only been about 25 days since you got the snake? I wouldn't worry too much at all. Once the smell hits you after she does #2 you'll be wishing she didn't!LOL

thats normal for boas. Don't worry. If shes being kept warm enough
don't worry about feeding her again. Shes a nice looking snake.
Good luck with her.

You should soak her for about 4-5 hours. She should do something by then. That's what I do to my male and that's the only way he'll go sometimes. Hope that helps.
