Alternative insects for hatchlings (other than 2 week old crickets)

Hello all,
What insects are a good and safe replacement to give hatchlings (1 or 2 day old and up) other than crickets?

What types of roach nymphs have people safely used for hatchlings?
I ask because I breed Deathhead Roaches and will soon be breeding Lobster roaches.
The Death Head nymphs usually are a bit larger than what be safe to give hatchling Bearded Dragon and I believe their exoskeleton is too abrasive for them - but I can be wrong. I'm hoping to find an insect that I am breeding already or is easy to start breeding.
