HELP MISSING SNAKE!!!!

gohome Aug 02, 2004 12:43 PM

i was watching my friends snake while he was out of town. there was no way that he culd have gotten out. i looked through all the substrate and all of the hides. hes only a 15 inch oketee corn and he was in a ten gallon. there was a light on top of the screen that covered his cage and the light was much to heavy for him to move. i dont know how he could have gotten out so if you have and tips that could help me locate him that would be great. oh yeah my freind gets home today some time.

To my experience (which unfortunately is plenty in this) baby ratsnakes have a thing for hiding in drawers or boxes. Search any that are easy access. Also behind books on shelves. They will also go inside walls. Your best bet is to explore the rooms late at night with a flashlight and hopefully catch him out there.
