i have a ball and about to get a boa and i was wondering can i keep the boa in the cage with the ball until the boa gets big enough for his big cage or do i need to get a nother snall tank to put the boa in?

You can do it if you want, it is done all the time from pet stores to home , but BEWARE they can kill each other , it has been done, one might eat the other for what ever reason. it is totally your choice. But I would advise to give them sepperate cages, for many reasons, #1 they can kill one another #2 If one becomes sick the other can get sick also, #3 if one throws up a meanl you know which one did.

IMHO i would give them seperate cages.
