ghost genetics

I recently hatched out the result of a ghost female crossed with a reverse okeetee male. 4 young were normal (1 dead in shell) and 12 appeared anerythristic. My assumption is that the reverse okeetee (amel) is het for anerythrism. I would expect 50/50 normal/anerythristic, but this isn't too far off. Anyone have another explanation?

I would have to agree. The amel (reverse okeetee) is het anery.
12 anerys and 4 normals (5 if you count the dead one) pretty good numbers!
