where can i find kings, corns, and milks in SC???

hey im new to this site through my girlfriend and i live in South Carolina. iv been searching the woods high and low looking for eastern kings or any other king snake, corn snakes, and milk snakes i can find!! does anyone have any information or tips as to where i can find any of these types of snakes anything you know can be of help to me.

Find some trash piles in the area. Most of the kings and the only milk I have found came from trash piles with boards/carpet/etc. strewn about. I can't be more specific than that as I am not in SC, but if you flip enough trash, you should find something.

hmm that sucks for me! i live in a pretty heavly woooded area do you have any suggestions as to there habitats outside of there trash piles??? iv gon through som old compost piles and had no luck. there arent any trash piles in this area. wow this is the first time iv said this but i wish there was trash piled up out here! anyways do you have any other suggestions for me, as far as the woods go?? there is also a creek near by would that be a place for me to scower about??

You can try flipping rotten pieces of wood, bark, etc. Creeks can be good places to look, but you might not find your target species. Most likely you would get a lot of Nerodia. You can try road cruising at night. Just drive roads through the area and watch for snakes crossing. I normally have good luck just after nightfall, but depending on the area, temps, weather, you can sometimes find snakes all night.

i have still had no luck with finding any sort of kings, corns or milks out here! i could supply a whole factory worth of the black racers i have found them out the ying yang there everywhere! but i cant find anything else! wait did find a worm snake but not much to brag about there either! do you guys have any other ideas or advice to give me to help me out again???
