Hypo Spots???

vpsnakeking Aug 03, 2004 12:10 AM

This is a picture of my male salmon boa. He was normal until this last shed. We can't figure out what the white specling is. Can you help us? Has anyone seen anything like this, if so please let me know. Any ideas or input would be appreciated. Thanx

.. there is a fungus that can cause that, it develops between the layers of skin during ecdysis.. other causes can be small injuries as perhaps from live-feeding or temporary husbandry goofs.. humidity especially.

The chances of it being an expression of some gentic trait are EXTREMELY small.. you would win the lotto first.

With luck, it will shed those out next cycle...

Good luick with that.
