no prob. i live in south africa. we have a reptile mag here and they are on the back page as part of my ad. i dont have a digital camera but will try make a plan to post some pics for you. my figis are as tame as kittens as they are handled every day so they dont mind posing for some more pics.
there are fiji's in Europe with legal paperwork. They breed in captivity. SD Zoo has more than they know what to do with, breed like rabbits, I have heard. It wont be long till they will be in the US legally.
how do i get in touch with sd zoo. what is the politics with your country. why cant you get them there now.
I am not sure how you would go about it, Getting a hold of someone in the reptile house is not easy without a direct line or a name. as far as why the US wont allow Fiji's? I dont really know, probably politics. They are protected in their home islands so if they are illegal here that may keep the smuggling down. I dont know, They will come in from Europe with the proper paperwork eventually and then we all will have them. Right now only AZA sanctioned people can have them in the states and that for the most part are only zoos
If you do a google search on San Diego Zoo, you might be able to find some contact information. I believe the Metro Toronto Zoo here in Canada has them as well, but you'd have to find contact information the same way.
