i have three boas, a male and two females. the male is a little over 6 foot, one female is 4'6" or so and the other is around 4'. they have all been housed together for the last month or so. i know this is not recommened, i am rectifing this now. friady i found blood in the cage on the bottom, it was in the aspen so i cleaned it out. today i found some dried blood on one of the shelves in the cage. i dont know which boa it is, but i have a feeling it is the smallest female. i did look all over each one's body looking for blood coming out but could find nothing. the fact that there have only been two incedents so far and the fact that i found no blood trails or blood on a boa leads me to believe that it is being excreted through the cloaca. the 4 adn a half foot female is 5 or so years old and is possibbly gravid and ate a frozen rat today. i am now spliting them up to find out for sure. any ideas what might the broblem be, and any ideas on fixing it would be appreciated.
thanks
mike
