Goog Morning Everyone,
My auriceps eggs hatched this morning, 4/5; still waiting on the fifth plump egg. They are so cute. Now I have some post partum questions, LOL.
1) How soon can I use a basking lamp?
2) Do they absolutely need outdoor exposure to grow?
3) When can they be sexed by tail morphology?

Oh they are SOOOOOOOOOO darn cute ! And will get prettier each day! Glad everything went well and they have finally arrived.

So what did ya think watching them? COOL Hunh?

I know with mine I wait till they have their footing so to speak, they are getting around pretty good, then I put them in a 10 gallon or tub which ever, right away with basking light and little rock, flatter rock to start !

As far as outside that would be great for them to grow and colorup and get the vit. D3 they need, if you are able to get them out soon.

As far as sexing, don't take long, I wouldnt bother them with that for a few days but its usually easy to tell pretty quick the boys from the girls.

Great Luck with them all, thats Awesome ! Keep the pics coming so we can see them grow and GET NICE AND YELLER !
