polyurothane coats for enclosre

how many coats of poly should i put in ym tegus enclosure befor ei get him..is 4 enough..im letting it air out till it doesnt smell inside nemore..then a few days extra after that..thankls for the help

Make sure that it airs out a good long time you do not want your little one getting sick. Poly does not actually cure for a while. So even though it is hard to the touch it may not be cured compleatly. I would think that 4 coats is fine as you will have substrate on the bottom still. Good luck.
