my arizona mountain yearling only eats fresh killed pinkies with either their heads split opened or blood oozing out from the nostrils. is there a way of changing tht eating habit?

My pyro also eats pinkies, but they do not need to be freshly killed and brained/or bleeding. Try offering a killed pinkie that has justed been pricked on the nose with a needle to get some blood out. Keep on reducing the amount of blood that is out. I have good luck with frozen/thawed. They are dead, like your freshly killed ones.

A TIP with frozens:
To thaw it, place the pink in a plastic baggie and float it in hot/warm water till thawed. That should make the pink warm and "live like". Next, rub the pinkie with a paper towel to get out any water that may be there when it was frozen. When rubbing, the pinkie should start bleeding around the face for some reason. Always happens to me

My Pyro ignores her mice unless I cover her feed tank. Sometimes they just need a little privacy .
