I'm new

Hi, everyone who has anoles. My friend's anoles are breeding like crazy. She has 6 babies out of 7 (one got out of the enclosure and died). I'm taking 2 of them. Hopefully females.
Question is I live a couple hours away. Will the babies be ok with the trip as long as they are in a/c? Also will the altitude change affect them at all?
The elevation here is like 5-6,000 foot and I live down in the desert at like 1,000 elevation.
I'm reading about them. Right now they are in a 10 gallon tank since they are so small. Eating fruit flies and pinhead crickets.
Does anyone have any info for me. thanks.

Hi!

I don't know how they will survive, since they are so tiny. Adults do fine being shipped in airplanes, so I wouldn't worry about that, but I don't know about babies. Keep them covered so they can't see out while transporting them - it will help them be less stressed by the trip.

The very best place to find out about anoles (yours are green anoles?) is the care sheet right here on Kingsnake:
Anole Care

It's the best and most thorough site I've found on the web - especially for those just starting out.
