The highest jump for a crotaphytus ?

xelabou Aug 03, 2004 05:51 PM

"Sara", on May 20th fell 12 feet down from the 2nd floor onto sand.
She tough that the veranda had windows like its aquarium...

She not just "survived", she hid behind a fence in a hole for a few hours. I lost a half-day at work for that...

You may say that my lizard lacks of natural sun for a good reason.. She just LOVES being wild...

For horizontal jump, she can reach 16 inches ...
I think they can jump much more than that ?

i have no idea how high they can jump but mine can jump pretty far with those big back legs.

i also have had one nearly commit suicide. he was on my head and he jumped toward the staircase banister. we were on the second floor and he went sailing over the edge, a good 12-15 feet. he started jumping back up the stairs and looked at me like, gee mom that was fun.
