Hi, I recently had my Ornate Argus Tree frog (Leptolepis flavomaculatus) die for an unknown reason. I got it about 4 months ago when it had a serious eye infection which clouded its eyes. I treated it with erythromycin untill they were clear and it was healthy and eating up untill a few weeks ago. I redid its tank to look more naturalistic now that it was all better but not to a point where the crickets could hide. It was eating fine and croaking as usual. A week ago it started hanging out in the corner and I noticed it had some of the infection back. Its water stayed clean so I dont think that was the cause (although it was the first time). I started the treatment again. It looked like it had weight on it (now I think it may have been water reserves) so and the crickets were dissapearing so it was eating. Yesterday I found it in bad shape no longer able to open its eyes and with very little strength left. This morning it was dead. Any information is appreciated. I think it may have been the heat wave here in Cali but I did not see it soak itself any more than usual.
