how long to thaw out an adult mouse ?

when putting it in a bowl of hot water in a plastic bag ?

On average maybe 10 minutes to 15 minutes.. depending on how hott the water is and how big the mouse. Just make sure there are no frozen spots left over on the mouse.

When you take the mouse out of the bag.. it should be warm all over and soft.. not HOT like the water or you could burn the inside of your snake like humans do eating too hot food.
