Rebecca and Georgia-She is out of surgery

Linda G Jun 23, 2003 12:05 PM

I just got the call and she is doing well but not quite
awake. The vet said that between Saturday and this morning
that some of the eggs had started to calcify but had not
been released from the ovaries. Everything inside looked
great and it was pretty routine. I was so relieved that
I had to have a good cry!

Thanks to both of you for your words of wisdom. I will
update again soon

SO GLAD TO HEAR SHE's DOING WELL!!!! I remember that feeling. . . the relief I mean. It'll take her awhile to wake up . . . Ig's and their slow metabolism dont'cha know. . . . rest easy about that. Both my girls surgery's were finished very early afternoon . . . but, when I told the vet I could pick them up early...he told me to finish out my normal workday so he could keep them under observation till they were totally alert and breathing normally again.
You guys are REALLY gonna bond while she's recoop'g too. . . and neither of you will ever have to sweat breeding season again.
Keep us posted.
