UV question

Bhelliom Aug 04, 2004 12:34 AM

Heys guys...
Been reading tons lately on here about all the MVB bulbs and UVB ratings and such... so it may have been mentioned already in the past...

But I happen to have a memory like a sieve.

what exactly is a good (ie average) uW/cm2 rating for UVB bulbs?
I'm currently using a reptisun 8.0 flourescent with a 75 watt heat light.

Being just your average joe with just one BD (considering a second) should I stick with the flourescents? or upgrade to a MVB?

Derek

Hi
If you go to my site you can see the excellent results we had with BDs with no sunlight, no calcium/vit supplements, just bugs, greens and the original MVB Active UVHeat. Our newest bulbs have a guarenteed output at 6 months of age--- unheard of! There is now no simpler, more effective and cost effect way to keep BDs.
