technique for feeding fish to frog

gary1 Aug 04, 2004 09:53 AM

my g/f parents own a tank with live bearers (mollies and swordtails) which has more fry than they know what to do with so i have access to as many healthy fish as i want, most just end up as fish food for my own fish but i grew one on a bit to feed to my pacman ( ive researched how good they are for them so my questions is not about this, i just want to vary diet a bit more).

can anyone suggest a good way of actually feeding the fish to the frog, i had no luck and ended up using the tongs to feed the live fish to the frog , this worked but being a fish owner i felt bad using the tongs to grasp the live fish, i know some people might think its daft cos its going to die to the frog anyway but hey , i love fish lol

Put the fish in a shallow bowl infront of the frog. The frog should see it splashing around and should take it fairly quickly.
