Perhaps a way to get him to eat his greens....

-ryan- Aug 04, 2004 10:48 AM

I think I found the secret to getting Sydney to eat his greens, and probably his green and tan pellets. I figured, since he likes the red pellets so much, why not try putting greens over them so he can just see one end of each pellet. It worked and he got 4 pellets and 2 or 3 good pieces of greens. Now, is there anyway I can use this sort of trick to get him to eat mainly greens? Like, put more and more greens while taking away pellets? If that doesn't work, I guess just tricking him is fine, but I just don't want him to be so dependent on repcal pellets.

Just mix them. He will accidentally get one or the other. You can also put supers in the food bowl. They will also tend to get some veggies while grabbing the worms.

How about trying some veggies with red already in it. Like beet greens, red swiss char
