We took the kids to the zoo yesterday I gotta say I was really impressed with the diversity of species they had on display. The only boas I seen were dumerils and a mad tree boa. But their hot selection was awesome, Alot of species ive never seen before. They had a really nice Canbrake in the MO section. I still cant get over the size of the Dumerils though they had a trio and all 3 must have been 9ft probally close to 10ft, Big animals I wish I had some dumerils that big here. the only one i have thats even close is an 8ft male but even he looks small to those. I wasnt ab;le to get pics though they have twp floors and the dumerils were on the lower floor. We took a wagon we have with two seats for the kids and my daughter was napping, we didnt want to wake her so her and my other half stayed above and photo graphed the caimans while my son and I went below and foudn the Dumeril's. The reptile house was awesome I highly recomend it to anyone! And ya gotta check out those dumerils LOL

Who knows maybe that female he posted above is a cross, could explain why he has offspring dieing at a year of age to, damn crosses LOL

We weren't really impressed with the reptile exhibit , I can't say that i even remember seeing the big dums at all .. but man that penguine exhibit was the best exhibit I've ever seen at any zoo .. it was amazing ! Did you check it out ?

it started raining really hard right before we got there, we didnt even know what we were walking into we just followed the traffic to get out of the rain, man did we ever freeze LOL, went from hot hunid rain to freezing cold, the exhibit was aesome though I have to agree I was really impressed as well, my son loved it had he not been shivering we would have spent some time in there he went nuts when he seen them swimming, they way they had it set up was really impressize gave ya the feel of actually being there.

had it not been about ten million degrees with %100 humidity outside I might of turned around as soon as I fealt that cold. But since I was basically roasting in to the concrete , I'll take the cold any day of the week... it really is a great exhibit , the kind everybody needs to see once... here's a pic from their site ..

had I not been soaking wet, but ya everyone does need to see that atleast once, its has to be one of the most outstanding exhibts anywhere!
